I don’t know how many times I’ve read over Revelation 1:3 and did not really take in the full meaning of it. In short, the word “read”, “hear” and “keep” are all present participles in the Greek. That means they all should have an “ing” at the end of them, and they express continuous action. So, the one reading doesn’t just read it once, but over and over and over and over again. The same is true for hearing and keeping. Therefore, when it says, “Blessed is the one who reads….hears….and keeps….” it truly is saying “blessed is the one reading continually….hearing continually….and keeping continually.” So, have you read/heard/kept Revelation today? 🙂 Oh, and there’s more to say about these words. I’ll get back to you later on that!! 😉 Blessings!
