The pressure is building, and like a tea kettle on to boil it is about to whistle with frenetic energy.

(I am writing to those of you who know the truth about the vaccine – that it is not a vaccine, and that this whole pandemic thing was planned and orchestrated for the sake of rolling out the vaccine which is for the demise of those who take it. No, it is not the mark of the beast, but it has been and is a catalyst for the new world order. It is incredibly toxic, and those behind it are incredibly evil. If you are unaware of this, please refer to these links: https://holylight4u.wordpress.com/watchman-on-the-wall/, https://holylight4u.wordpress.com/2021/07/22/bringing-something-to-light/, https://holylight4u.wordpress.com/the-mark/, https://holylight4u.wordpress.com/2021/07/02/exposing-the-darkness-as-children-of-light/, https://holylight4u.wordpress.com/2020/10/14/hidden-in-plain-sight-an-initiation-into-the-new-world-order/)

The vaccine has begun to be mandated, and is nearing full approval from the FDA. Freedom of choice is no longer an option on the table. ‘My body, my choice’ is no longer viable. The Federal government has already mandated that all Federal employees be vaccinated. By September 15th, or earlier if the vaccines are granted full FDA approval, all branches of the U.S. military must be vaccinated, and state after state are signing on to require vaccines for all state employees. New York, Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, and Pennsylvania are doing so right now. Restaurants and bars in big cities are mandating not only that their employees all have the shot, but that all customers have the shot, or else they will not be allowed admittance. And the call for a federal mandate that all health care workers to receive the vaccine has been sounded.

So many are overwhelmed and do not know what to do. And fear is gripping many hearts as they face the stark reality set before them. How are they going to pay the rent, the mortgage, the car payment, house or car insurance, or for basic necessities like groceries?

And when people look to churches, they find they are not a soft place to fall nor a firm foundation upon which to stand. Regretfully, they have proven to be no help, as church leadership makes it sound like it is our Christian duty to get the vaxx, because Jesus would have wanted it. It is the loving thing to do. It is the selfless thing to do. It is the Christian thing to do. Which is a bunch of “twisted Scripture” garbage from the pit of hell! No where in the Bible does it say that we are to seek to save our own life. Jesus says in Luke 17:33, “Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.” We are not even told to save others. Jesus saves. It is He who came to seek and save that which is lost (Luke 19:10), and to lay down His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). We are not called to do that. Jesus tells us as His followers to, “19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Any guilt trip that says otherwise is the devil twisting Scripture as usual — and he is exceptionally adept at it. Do not fall prey to this tactic!

And then there are those whose very identity is all wrapped up in their work, and they are in shock over the choice set before them. Who are they without their job?

It’s as if the oxygen has been sucked out of the room, and everyone is gasping for air. A wall of water just hit us, and we have been left disoriented and confused.

On Thursday night, my online pastor, Pastor JD Farag and his Calvary Chapel congregation in Kaneohe, Hawaii gathered before the Lord with weeping and much prayer regarding this situation that is increasingly intensifying by the minute. As they studied Isaiah 37 and the story of King Hezekiah who was up against the overwhelming blasphemous terror of the army of Sennacherib, they like King Hezekiah came before the Lord in brokenness but with much faith.

Faith.

Indeed, it has boiled down to that one pivotal, powerful word: faith. In what are we putting our faith? Story after story after story in the Bible points us to this very question: in what do we put our faith?

When King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 was up against several armies way beyond Judah’s capacity to defeat, he and his people came before God and cried out for help. Then, marching out in praise and faith they came upon their enemy who had already been slaughtered by the Lord. It reads, “22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.”

The same is true of King Hezekiah up against Sennacherib’s bombastic words and mighty army. When King Hezekiah stood in faith, 185,000 Assyrians were slaughtered by the Angel of the Lord. (Isaiah 37). When Joseph was sold into slavery, all odds were against him. Nevertheless, he believed God, and because of that many lives were saved, including those of his brothers who had sold him (Genesis 50:20).

Right now we are up against the Red Sea on one side and Pharoah’s army on the other (Exodus 14). In the natural, death is on every side. There appeared to be no way out for them even as there appears to be no way out for us. But, let us not limit God, nor stipulate how or in what way He must deliver us. Let Him be God.

In my own life, I was faced with losing my job as chaplain at a health care facility a year ago. And it was not just any job. I’ve had many other jobs including ministry jobs, but this was a perfect fit. Everything about it was made for me. On top of that, it was a miracle job. I had not sought this job out nor had it been listed in an online job search engine nor had I even applied for it. God literally gave it to me when I least expected it. And then, the so-called Christian facility decided to suddenly add a job requirement with which I could not in good conscience comply. Furthermore, they were not open to discussion. The official job requirement was stated in such a way that if one even dared to question it or resist it in any way, they would be terminated “effective immediately,” and it would be deemed a “voluntary resignation.” So, for a week, I quietly packed up my office, and the final two days of that week, I said goodbye to the residents. Then, I sent in my letter of “forced” resignation. And though things have not gone the way I might have requested, God has since blessed me in many unexpected ways.

While working as a prayer worker while in seminary, a woman called in one time with terrible financial trouble. As she was speaking, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that the real problem was not her lack of funds nor a lack of faith, rather, it was that she was serving money and not God. She was serving money by fearing the lack of it. Think about that. All of her mind and heart was wrapped up in making money, having money, dealing with money, needing money to make her feel secure. In so doing, she had become its slave. We are either serving God, or serving money. One or the other is our master (Luke 16:13). So, I prayed along those lines, and she was astounded at the incredible accuracy of the Holy Spirit inspired prayer.

Now, I must make you aware that this whole trusting thing can lead to answers that we would not have chosen. Sometimes it means living with another family member. Sometimes it means taking a job that you think is beneath you. Sometimes it means we have to scrimp and save on things we used to think were necessities but really they were excess — like vacations, dinner out, car washes, coffee out, and even buying soda pop or candy or chips. Sometimes, it means setting out on a new adventure that is initially scary, but just may be bigger and better than you’d ever have imagined!

That being said, the question still is: in what have you put your faith? Money? A job? Or… God who gave you both money and a job and has been and still is the Provider of every need that you have or ever will have? (Philippians 4:19). Now is our test of faith (Psalm 11). Do we really believe God will take care of us? Do we really believe His word, or is our soil too rocky so that word could not go deep enough in to the soil of our hearts? (Mark 4 and Matthew 13’s parable of the sower).

As we face the Red Sea, go one on one with Goliath like David, face the frightening reality of Sennacherib, enter the loneliness of betrayal and slavery in Egypt like Joseph, cry out to God regarding the multitude of Moab and Ammon, let us chose to believe. Let’s not be like the children of Israel who, after seeing miracle after miracle of God’s wondrous plagues and provision, falsely accused God of not caring and worshiped the golden calf instead. Let’s quit clinging to our comfort zone, our security blanket – after all, it’s just a blanket unless God is holding us in it!

We’re at the Red Sea. What will you do? Go back to slavery or even death with Pharoah? Fearfully run into the sea and drown? Or… will you stand back and see the salvation of the Lord?

God knows what you need even before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8). Fear not, little sheep. He will not fail you now. Time to stand in faith in Him, for without faith, it is impossible to please Him.

In Christ,

Holy Light Ministries

P.S. Please, please pray for one another as fellow Christians. So many in the Body of Christ are going through terribly tough times. Not only are Christian livelihoods and freedoms at stake in the U.S. and Europe, around the world millions of people have lost EVERYTHING because of their Christian faith, because of wildfires that have burned their towns and regions, because of flash floods that flushed everything away, because of churning tornadoes, because of pelting hail that smashed their homes, and tropical storms that blew everything to smithereens. Please, remember to pray for our displaced brothers and sisters in Christ who do not know where their next meal is coming from, where they’ll be able to get their medication, where they are going to sleep tonight, what they are going to do to provide for their families, and what tomorrow holds. Pray that they experience God’s promised provision (Matthew 6:11; Luke 11:3), and that they in the midst of their great affliction will willingly present the hope of the Gospel to a lost and hurting world who desperately needs Jesus.

Jesus is coming soon. Let’s be ready.

Facing the Threat – Isaiah 36-37,” Thursday night sermon of Pastor JD Farag, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUmuUp6qt1c

Stories of Others Before Their Own Red Sea and Links:

Nancy Hill is a cardiac nurse at a hospital in Bellingham, Washington. She along with 300 other employees of St. Joseph’s Medical Center rallied against Governor Inslee’s mandate. She is a mother of five who homeshools her children and assists her parents in their home. Nevertheless, she is willing to lose her job for the sake of conscience. And the 299 others gathered with all of their stories, needs, children, hopes and dreams also appear willing to lose their jobs.

In Raleigh, North Carolina other dedicated nurses such as Karen Helm and Cheryl Morneau (sp?), along with hundreds of others, are willing to lose their jobs too. And then there are those at University of Colorado Hospital, and the nurses of Forth Worth, Texas, including ER nurse Keli Culver and ICU/NICU nurse Jennifer Cantu, the nurses who stood in the rain for hours in the Twin Cities, Minnesota who are willing to lose their jobs and homes, those who stood in the sun in Riverside, California, and those who bravely gathered in Honolulu, Hawaii, and even non-medical staff in medical facilities like Kyle Tautfest who is a security guard in Washington state.

And then there are restaurant works, social media workers, volunteers, and the list goes on of those who are affected by this insanity.
